Greenwich police are asking for the public's help in finding the person responsible for nearly stabbing a man to death in a local housing complex.
News 12 Connecticut is told the stabbing occurred around 2 a.m. Saturday at Armstrong Court.
Police say the victim, who is from Norwalk, was stabbed so severely that he wasn't expected to survive. They say he underwent surgery and is expected to make a full recovery.
Investigators are not sure what sparked the violence.
Officers have stepped up patrols in Greenwich with both uniformed and plainclothes officers.
