Republican incumbent Jeffrey Manville has won the Southbury primary for first selectman.

Manville won over Jennifer Naylor with 62 percent of the vote.           

Manville was not the party endorsed candidate in the race but got enough signatures to force the primary.

No Democratic candidate has announced plans to run currently.
