The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk is starting the new year with a new strategic plan.
The plan aims to deepen the community's connection to the Long Island Sound and the ocean over the next 10 years. It also aims to inspire bold action to protect and sustain the blue planet for future generations.
"An Aquarium Without Walls" focuses on four main pillars:
  • Re-imagine the aquarium experience;
  • Foster lifelong learning and environmental stewards;
  • Protect wildlife and natural habitats of Long Island Sound;
  • Engage the community near and far.
