A Norwalk martial arts studio hosted a fundraiser Saturday where kids and adults donated money to help build and renovate veterans' homes.
The "Spar-a-thon" brought more than 30 Tae Kwon Do students to the studio to practice their punches while raising funds to help wounded and disabled veterans in need. All proceeds from the event went to the local charity Building Homes for Heroes.
Building Homes for Heroes has plans to build two homes locally this year. The money raised Saturday will go toward supplies for the homes.
