Former wresting executive Linda McMahon is asking her GOP rival Chris Shays to drop out of the race for Senate.
McMahon won the Connecticut Republican party's endorsement Friday night for a second campaign for U.S. Senate.
McMahon says because she won more than 60 percent of the delegates, Shays should remove himself from the race.
Shays says he has many delegates who support him and he will challenge McMahon in the August 14 primary.
