The Mega Millions jackpot has climbed to $348 million ahead of Friday night's drawing and a $3 million ticket was already sold in the state earlier this week.
Recent winning lottery tickets sold in Connecticut and New York have got folks in the north east feeling rather lucky.
Tuesday's Mega Millions Jackpot was the largest Christmas Day jackpot ever, closing at $321 million.
And while no one won it all, Avenue News in Bristol sold a winning ticket that matched all five of the winning numbers. Just the Mega Ball of 6 was off. The ticket would have been worth $1 million, but it had the Megaplier selected, for a total of $3 million.
No one has come forward to claim the winnings from the ticket.
In Brooklyn, lottery officials say one Powerball jackpot ticket worth $298.3 million was sold Thursday.
However, experts say the odds of winning are 1 in 302 million.
Friday's drawing for Mega Millions will be held at 11 p.m. tonight.
