The family of a 7-year-old Ridgefield boy says he died from meningitis last week. Mourners paid their respects yesterday at his wake. Friends say the boy attended Farmingville Elementary School. Members

The family of a 7-year-old Ridgefield boy says he died from meningitis last week.
Mourners paid their respects yesterday at his wake.
Friends say the boy attended Farmingville Elementary School.
Members of the National Meningitis Association say they have been making an effort to raise awareness of this highly contagious disease that can be prevented by getting vaccinated.
