Service along the Metro-North's Danbury Branch has been restored after a train collided with a car in Norwalk Tuesday afternoon.
The incident occurred at a private grade crossing south of Commerce Street around 2:30 p.m.
Officials say the train was coming from Grand Central Station on its way to Danbury. No one was injured in the crash.
The driver of the car was taken to the hospital. Witnesses say he appeared to be OK.
