Fire weather concerns continue into Friday night and the weekend, with Saturday looking especially concerning regarding the conditions for wildfires to start and spread. Any amount of smoke can reduce the air quality for the borough. As of Friday evening, air quality is good to moderate.

Temperatures will be a little above average through the weekend and return to more normal temperatures by the end of next week. There are no rain chances until possibly late next week. There are still a number of things that have to go right to see any amount of rain in the borough. This will become clearer slightly under a week away.

The weekend starts with sunny and gusty conditions on Saturday.

Sunday is less breezy and will see a mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures for the weekend are in the low-60s with lows in the mid- to high-40s. No rain will making any impacts this weekend.

Breezy conditions return for the beginning of the week.

With no real rain anytime soon, the severe drought in the borough is only going to worsen. There needs to be multiple rounds of significant and drenching rains to help the situation there will not be any significant rain anytime soon.

There will be a full moon overnight known as The Beaver Moon.
