A boardwalk expansion project to connect Silver Sands State Beach and the City of Milford's Walnut Beach has been called off due to the state?s fiscal crisis, officials say.
Local officials say they?ve been trying to get the $2 million project off the ground for five years, but something always stands in the way.
Late Thursday, state officials announced they would ?revisit this project as conditions warrant.?
