The town of Milford celebrated its 375th anniversary Wednesday by burying a time capsule filled with more than 400 items.
The time capsule was buried during a ceremony Wednesday.
Residents contributed hundreds of items, including pictures, toys and newspapers. Members of the Time Capsule Committee say residents submitted what they feel is special about Milford and their families.
Past time capsules have been lost, so committee members made sure to plant a rock to mark the spot of this one. The time capsule will be dug up and opened in 2039.
