A Milford woman's life's work now fills the pages of a book, thanks to the love and devotion of her husband.
Songs and stories fill the house on Vermont Avenue where Carol Ruggiero and her husband lived happily ever after.
Carol never dreamed of being a writer, but after joining a group at the Milford Senior Center, words flowed -- filling boxes and booklets for decades.
Carol died in March. Her husband, Albert, sought solace in her work. While editing and organizing, her necklace inspired a title – “Pearls from Carol.”
Seeing his wife's words in print is turning grief to pride.
