Two police officers in Milford were recognized Monday night after residents say they performed acts of kindness for nothing in return.
Police say an officer pulled over on East Broadway Sunday morning and helped an woman walk home safely. A photo of the kind act was posted on Facebook and quickly spread on social media.
Additionally, police say an officer responded to a 911 call of an unresponsive woman on Snow Apple Lane Friday morning. Officials say the responding officer performed CPR on the woman until paramedics arrived.
In both cases, neither officer made mention of what he had done. Police officers say the two cases are ones they go home smiling about.
