Two Milford police officers saved a man who overdosed on fentanyl Saturday, police say.

Around 12:30 p.m., Officer William Ospina and Officer Joanna Salati responded to a motel for a report of a 34-year-old man who was found unresponsive.

Ospina administered two doses of Narcan before he and Salati performed CPR.

As a result of their actions, the man regained consciousness as paramedics arrived.

The man was taken to the hospital and stabilized.

In an Instagram post, the department praised the two for their work.
