Millions of Americans hit the road this year for the Christmas holiday.
AAA says it expects about 98 million people to celebrate the holiday away from home, which is a new record.
Approximately 91 percent of those travelers are expected to drive, thanks to falling gas prices.
For those taking to the sky, it is recommended to call your carrier before heading to the airport. Stormy weather could cause a number of delays and cancellations.
