Over 250 bike riders participated in the CT Challenge Saturday to help raise money to provide wellness for those suffering from cancer.
The ride started at Greenfield Hill Church in Fairfield with riders from over 30 towns who rode between 10 and 100 miles.
According to its website, the CT Challenge is the main source of funding for the nonprofit Mission.
The goal of Mission is to help the 16.9 million cancer survivors across the U.S. "rebuild, improve and prolong their lives through exercise, nutrition, mind-body health and community-building support programs."
A total of 145 volunteers also participated in the event.
