It's still technically summer and today was proof of that. Once the sky cleared and drier air took over, temperatures quickly jumped.

We will see a similar look and feel for tomorrow, even as a cold front comes our way. This cold front will pass through the area dry and only drop temperatures for the weekend.

Highs on Friday will reach the lower 80s and on Saturday, they will only reach the lower 70s.

The winds will pick up as the front comes through.

The weather over the weekend will be pleasant, sunny and dry.

The first day of fall is Monday.

There will be more clouds and even some rain by the middle of next week, but overall temperatures are staying above normal.

Tropical Storm Gabrielle is located in the central Atlantic. The storm is currently struggling to maintain its strength, as it is not in a very favorable environment. Forecasts call for this storm to strengthen in a few days once it moves into a more favorable area, but it does not threaten land. The planet Saturn will be in opposition this weekend. It's the perfect time to view the ringed planet, as it will be brighter and visible all night. The weather will cooperate for viewing too. Saturn is visible to the un-aided eye, but binoculars or a small telescope will show the planet as a disc and rings.
