More than 300,000 homes and businesses are still in the dark in Connecticut this morning.
That includes 107,000 people covered by United Illuminating, about a third of its entire customer base.
Nine out of the 16 communities in southwestern Connecticut are reporting at least half of all homes and businesses without power.
Just this morning U.I. announced that it expects to restore power to 95 percent of its customers by midnight on Monday.
