Charges will move forward against a man accused of a deadly shooting at a child's birthday party in Fairfield.
On Wednesday, a judge found probable cause to prosecute Tahnyi Johnson for murder.
Johnson was 16 years old when he allegedly shot and killed 15-year-old Zion Burton during a birthday celebration at a church banquet hall on King's Highway East in July 2022.
The case remained unsolved until April, when Fairfield police announced Johnson's arrest.
Following the judge's ruling, Johnson pleaded not guilty.
