Mystic Pizza, the restaurant made famous by the 1998 Julia Roberts movie, is taking over part of Route 1.
Gov. Ned Lamont and the Department of Transportation made the announcement on Saturday.
The pizzeria is adding outdoor tables to the front of building and on the sidewalk as a part of pandemic reopening.
Part of the highway will be blocked off for the extra seating.
