Cleanup efforts are underway in Wolcott following a small tornado over the weekend.
The National Weather Service confirms a tornado touched down in Wolcott Sunday.
The tornado, with winds reaching up to 85 mph, swept through the town northeast of Waterbury. Officials say the tornado uprooted trees and knocked down a fence. The baseball field at Wolcott High School was also damaged.
The NWS gave the storm the lowest rating for tornados. No injuries were reported.
