NBC Sports in Stamford has more than 2,000 people working on its coverage of the Paris Olympics.
Leftover food from the broadcast center is being donated to people in need in the community.
Volunteers from Food Rescue US delivered food to a shelter named Pacific House in Stamford Thursday.
"We have a partnership with NBC Sports which has scaled out to three times the size it normally is as we are in the middle of the Olympics and they have a large influx of employees," says Karen Saggese, co-site director of Food US in Fairfield County.
