The future of the NEON agency is looking brighter after officials announced many employees will not be losing their jobs and students will not be losing their Head Start Program for the time being.
Interim Director Pat Wilson Pheanious managed to avoid a major round of layoffs scheduled for the end of this month by shifting duties and shuffling around resources.
According to Pheanious, worker moral is up right now.
