A new tool is being used by researchers to help track coronavirus cases around the world.
The app, COVID Symptom Tracker, was developed by Professor Tim Spector at King's College in London. He says it has been downloaded by over 2 million people across the U.K.
People can use the app to track their daily health and any potential COVID-19 symptoms.
Spector says hospital and health care workers in the U.S. are now starting to use this app. He says the U.K. has been locked down for weeks due to the virus, and that some European countries are beginning to open up construction again and some schools.
Spector says some things may start to open up again in the U.K. in a couple of weeks. An interactive map allowing anyone to see the distribution of COVID-19 in their area can be found here.
