New Canaan residents described Friday’s verdict in the Michelle Troconis trial as a big sigh of relief.
The memorial wall for Jennifer Dulos outside of Waveny Park in New Canaan attracted visitors following Michelle Troconis’ guilty verdict.
Longtime New Canaan resident Roy Abramowitz says he has been following the story since day one.
He says he didn't know Michelle Troconis, but he and his wife have been following the trial faithfully because Jennifer Dulos was a close friend of a friend. He says the verdict was something he will never forget.
"When I got the News 12 alert, you know, it reminded me, well this is historical," said Abramowitz. "I went to the News 12 and opened the story, and it was guilty for on all counts, and it was a sigh of relief."
“I do believe in the justice system, and I think it’s incredibly important that we maintain a credible justice system,” said Alex Gregory, from New Canaan.
