New traffic figures say police throughout Connecticut are conducting more traffic stops.
In 2023, there was an overall 15% increase in stops, according to the state Racial Profiling Prohibition Project.
However, there was a 7% drop in stops made by state police.
Traffic stops are still 30% lower than before the pandemic.
