New Jersey man places in top 25 in USA Mullet Championship
The USA Mullet Championship was held this weekend, and a New Jersey man made the top 25.
Eric Kormann, of Penns Grove, made it to the finals. The competition raises money for the nonprofit Stop Soldier Suicide.
Kormann says he grew the mullet to annoy his wife during the pandemic lockdown and decided to keep it!
"It draws attention,” says Kormann. “It was a conversation piece, something fun to do, annoy people."
Five-hundred mullet owners entered. Scott Salvadore, of Stillwater, New York, won the top spot.
Even though he didn’t get first place, Kormann says he's not cutting off his hair. In fact, he wants to continue growing his hair in hope of donating it to locks of love.
