Preparations are underway for a unique summer camp in Fairfield for teens with some not so typical interests.
Ben Steiz grew up in Wilton and struggled to keep busy during the summer with activities he enjoyed like reading and writing.
His mom, Susan Steiz, a Norwalk Community College professor, created Great Minds of Connecticut.
It's a summer program for teens in grades 7 through 12 who want to explore literature and creative writing with college professors.
Susan says the program will be a great outlet.
Summer sessions for Great Minds of Connecticut will launch in June.
