New Milford Mayor Pete Bass has instructed local police to make additional patrols of the high school.

Bass says children were found playing on the field. He is reminding residents to continue to use social distancing.

Bass says he's keeping the area open for now so that people can exercise on the track, but if the current trend continues, he will have to close the area.
