A New York man who admitted to killing a Stamford, Connecticut man during a road rage incident in 2021 was sentenced Friday.
Emmanuel Matias, of Yonkers, New York, was sentenced to 10 years in prison followed by five years' probation.
Matias assaulted Michael Gentile, 71, during the incident in November 2021.
Police had said a traffic collision on Cold Spring Road in Stamford led to the confrontation between the two.
Matis punched Gentile, who fell and hit his head on the ground.
He later died at the hospital.
If Matias violates probation, he could face up to five more years in prison.
