Waters have subsided in coastal Milford following flooding caused by the strong nor'easter and high tides.

Homes along Beachland Avenue experienced only a few inches of flooding, far less than the major flooding from Hurricane Sandy.

The Milford Fire Department says the flooding did not appear to cause any significant damage.
