A church in Norwalk held a Christmas breakfast this morning for some local residents in need.

Members of Grace Baptist Church invited local residents impacted by Sandy to sit down for a holiday meal.

Organizers say teachers and students at the Sunday school put together the entire meal, from shopping, to cooking and even serving their guests.

Church officials say the breakfast was used as a symbol to teach the Sunday school students the true meaning of Christmas and to show love. They plan to make the Christmas breakfast into an annual tradition.
