A Norwalk company is appealing to the community to donate money for the family of a bus driver killed last week on I-95.
Clarence Gaskins, 49, was killed while driving a Connecticut Transit bus. His former co-workers at Flagstar Limousine are collecting money for Gaskin?s wife and young son. They hope the donations will ease some of the financial burden for his grief-stricken family. The unusual accident occurred when a tire flew off a nearby car on I-95 north, crashing through the windshield of the bus and into Gaskin?s chest. Co-workers say Gaskin was an avid Mets fan and would have liked to see the team continue in the playoffs.
