A Norwalk man is facing assault charges for reportedly stabbing his granddaughter's boyfriend earlier this week.
According to the Norwalk Hour, the victim sneaked into a home on Third Street to see his girlfriend. Witnesses say Avidan Leyva, 61, found the man and stabbed him with a kitchen knife.
Police say they arrested Leyva Tuesday and charged him with second-degree assault.
