The Norwalk Public Schools Family Center is offering free student physical exams starting today.
The program is available at the Family Center on Park Street and will run every Thursday this summer for students.
The program is a collaboration between Norwalk Public Schools and the Norwalk Community Health Center.
The Norwalk Public Schools Family Center just opened a few weeks ago with the goal of combining food, transportation and health services under one roof.
Physical exams will be offered Thursdays between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. through September.
The physicals will take place in the Norwalk Community Health Center medical mobile unit, which will be located outside of the Family Center.
Students entering Kindergarten, seventh and 10th grade are required to have one.
Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins will be accepted all at no cost to families.
