The Action Wildlife Foundation features animals from A to Z - exotic and domestic. Many are rescues at this unique sanctuary in Goshen.
From alpacas to zebras and aoudads to zebus, the safari-style setup spans acres and makes for an easy, up-close- encounter with many rare animals.
The nonprofit organization is dedicated to animal conservation and providing a distinctive interactive experience in New England.
Their commitent is to the preservation of biodiversity and making a home for many species that are not found elsewhere in Connecticut. Families can cuddle with barnyard and other breeds in the petting zoo. On the weekends, they can enjoy a safari hayride.
Chase and Heidi Jespersen took the reins of leadership in 2022 and are preserving the dream of founder Jim Mazzarelli.
