Tenants of one housing unit in Norwalk say they are outraged by unaddressed health violations in their building.Main Avenue unit tenants say worn out windows, feeble vinyl siding and poor ventilation are just some of the bad living conditions they are constantly at odds with. One resident says he has had a leak in the ceiling of his bedroom for three years and nothing has been done. Tenants are demanding that Norwalk's Housing Authority steps up. Some residents also say after contacting Norwalk's Housing Authority several times regarding their complaints they were handed an eviction letter. Michelle Vargas says she knows she is being purposely attacked for speaking up. Norwalk Mayor Richard Moccia (R-CT) says, while he is aware of some of the conditions, he does not have the necessary information to comment.
