A man charged with shaking a 5-month-old Ansonia baby to death last summer has pleaded not guilty.
Police say Angel Luis Santiago, 35, was watching Kyle Robinson and his siblings last June when it happened.
He told police he left the room and came back and found the baby unresponsive.
Police say the child suffered injuries to his brain, neck, and spinal cord, which are consistent with shaking a child.
