Residents at one NYCHA housing project say they are tired of dealing with a lack of hot water.
Len Delacruz, who lives at the Pelham Parkway Houses, says the issue has been ongoing for two years.
"As time goes by, you get more frustrated and more frustrated until you actually reach a boiling point," he says.
Delacruz says he has even had to visit his relatives to take showers and boil water to give his daughter baths.
"All heat and hot water systems were inspected and operational," a NYSHA representative told News 12 The Bronx. "Including the backup mobile boiler supporting the building."
NYCHA is encouraging anyone with water temperature issues to contact them.
