A baby died Wednesday at a day care in Norwalk, officials say.
Police say they responded to a 911 call from the day care on Hunters Lane around 1:30 p.m.
Investigators say once officers arrived, they and fire personnel performed medical aid on the 4-month-old baby girl.
They say the baby was later pronounced dead at Norwalk Hospital.
A website that provides information for parents about child care states that the center is a "family child care home."
The website says the facility is operated by Christine Limone, who is the daughter of Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling.
Limone has been licensed since 2002 and the day care's last inspection was in March.
The autopsy will be performed tomorrow.
