Fire officials say a body was discovered in a burning car in Milford Friday.
Fire officials say crews responded to a report of a car fire at the Connecticut Audubon Society on Milford Point Road around 10:30 p.m.
They say the car was fully engulfed in when they arrived.
Investigators say they discovered the body after the flames were completely put out.
They have not released the make and model of the car, or where it was from, but have brought in several agencies to investigate.
The medical examiner, the Milford fire marshal, Milford police and the Connecticut State Police Fire Investigation Unit are all investigating to determine the victim's identity as well as the cause of the fire.
Officials have not yet identified the body, or said if it was a male or female.
They say an autopsy will also determine how the person died and whether or not the person was dead before the fire.
