Officials: Car strikes parked cars, 2 homes in Bridgeport; 4 injured

Three occupants were able to leave the vehicle on their own accord. The fourth was removed from under the vehicles by the Bridgeport Fire Department.

A car struck two homes Saturday evening in Bridgeport, injuring four people inside the vehicle.
The incident happened on the 900 block of Chopsey Hill Road around 10:30 p.m.
A preliminary report from Bridgeport’s Office of Emergency Management & Homeland Security shows the car struck multiple parked cars before the homes, which were both badly damaged. It landed upside down on a parked vehicle.
Three occupants were able to leave the vehicle on their own accord. The fourth was removed from under the vehicles by the Bridgeport Fire Department.
All four people inside the car were hospitalized with significant injuries.
There was no word from authorities as to how the driver lost control.
