? For southwestern Connecticut residents, winter weather officially arrived Monday.
A blast of winter weather kept temps at icy lows Monday, resulting in tough conditions on the road.
Doctors at Norwalk Hospital say they were concerned they might see several residents admitted for hypothermia. Dr. Michael Carius says people should not be out in this weather unless they absolutely have to. Residents were advised to dress in layers and wear hats and gloves to keep warm. Doctors also say residents should try to stay dry and to avoid the wind.
