Firefighters rushed to a three-story home Thursday after a fire threatened to engulf the building.
Fire officials say the blaze started around 4 p.m. at the multi-family home on Pacific Avenue. They say one person was rushed to Stamford Hospital with serious burn injuries. All other residents in the six homes got out safely.
Neighbors say they saw flames shooting out of the roof of the home. Firefighters say their biggest concern was containing the fire so it didn?t spread to the surrounding buildings.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
