FORECAST:
We have one more summer-like day ahead of us before a significant temperature drop occurs mid-week.
Dress for summer weather again on Tuesday.
The clouds are going to linger, and high temperatures will once again rise to near-80 degrees.
Winds will be light but eventually turn more northerly and pick up by Tuesday night.
Temperatures will fall Wednesday and Thursday back into the 60s. Think flannels and sweaters as you head out the door. The sun will be shining, and the weather will stay dry through the week.
Look for a warmup for Friday and into the weekend.
TROPICS UPDATE:
Both Hurricane Humberto (a Category 4 storm) and Tropical Storm Imelda will remain out over the ocean and away from the U.S. The storms will interact with each other, and Imelda will eventually get pulled farther east due to Humberto. The storms will create a tight pressure gradient against a strong high pressure to our north, and the winds will pick up starting Tuesday night through Wednesday.
