Students who survived the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown got a look at their new school today.

The former Chalk Hill School in Monroe held an open house this morning so students and their families could tour the grounds before class starts tomorrow.

The new school will retain the name Sandy Hook and has had surveillance equipment installed around the school to keep students safe. Police will also be on hand at the school for the foreseeable future.
