Operation Hope volunteers held the 22nd food drive of the year at the First Church Congregational in Fairfield Saturday.
They say they've already had over 180 requests for Thanksgiving food baskets this year, and are hoping this final food drive will help them fill baskets for families in need.
Volunteers say the community need for their help has increased by 35% this year at the food bank.
They say they're not only getting people who need food at the drives, but people who are donating to help them out.
