An iconic Stratford drive-in restaurant is looking for new owners to carry on its traditions.
Danny's Drive-In has been a go-to food spot since 1935, but now Joe Targowski, who married into the family business, is looking to take on a new challenge.
Targowski says he wants to pursue a career in law enforcement. He says he is looking for someone eager to take the reins at Danny's.
The restaurant has posted an asking price of $900,000 with realtor Ray Martin of Stratford.
Danny's is just seconds from the Stratford-Milford border, and offers a view of I-95, though the restaurant opened before the freeway was built.
Customers say they hope the restaurant, and their favorite menu items like burgers and fries, will stay the same.
