Remember profile songs, custom backgrounds and the famous "Top 8"?

The owners of MySpace say the once-popular social media platform could be making a comeback.

Brothers Tim and Chris Vanderhook, who have owned MySpace since 2011, teased plans for a relaunch during a documentary, saying the company is waiting for the right moment to revive the brand.

"We still own MySpace," said co-owner Tim Vanderhook. "We are stewards of the Myspace brand at this point, and we are going to relaunch Myspace."

The Vanderhooks have spent more than a decade exploring ways to reinvent the platform, with a particular focus on music and entertainment. MySpace was once one of the world's most popular social networking sites before being overtaken by newer platforms.

While the brothers confirmed plans for a relaunch, they did not provide a timeline for when it could happen.

"We're just waiting for the right time to do it," Tim said. "And if that one doesn't work, we'll do it again."
