The world of high fashion made its way to the Hudson Valley Saturday as the Palisades Mall hosted the annual Rockland County Fashion Week Show.
The show in West Nyack featured 14 local designers, more than 30 models, top hairstylists and makeup professionals.
Event organizers said the show was not just about fashion, but had a heartfelt message as well. Jacqueline Love, who trained some of the models, believes inclusion is an important part of the show. Among the models are a young boy with autism, as well as several breast cancer survivors.
“I just let them know, don’t let anybody stop you. Know who you are and what you do. It’s really important,” she said.
